ASSERTIVE TROPICAL HOPS BALANCED BY COMPLEX MALT GIVE THIS IPA A BIG PERSONALITY WITH A DRY FINISH.
A hoppy attitude and a mouthful of dynamic flavors give this IPA a big personality. Assertive, fruit-forward hops with aromas of orange blossom and pineapple mingle with flavors of wet pine and sweet malt with a dry finish.

Clear gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, mildly dry and decent carbonation. Soft malts, sweetish but also a little grainy and aged tasting. Piney hops, mild hop spice. Ripe citrus and orange peel. Smooth semi dry finish brings very mild tropical fruits. This was a GBBF beer and like a couple of other beers they sold, there is a bit of a question mark over how fresh these were. Still decent if a little aged tasting.

Bottle. Wine Rack, Sharrow, Sheffield. 12 weeks old. I can live with that, especially at 3 quid odd. Clear, pale amber. Thin, fairly dense, lasting, white head. Nose has that fusty, dusty orange peel hop, that not too fresh hoppy beers tend to have. Some piny notes. Touch of spice. Taste has robust, spicy, piny bitterness. A bit of caramel malt sweetness. Lots of body. Pretty smooth. Long, robust, spicy, resinous bitter finish. Very tasty.

Bottle from GBBF 2016 and drunk at home. Clear deep orange amber colour lasting thick ivory head. Leafy hoppy ipa. Going along the route of new style usa ipa of being very fresh hop with not a lot of bitterness. Enough malt to hold the hops up but not too sweet. Good hop flower finish. Very fresh. Bottle disappeared quickly which is a good sign. Like a walk through the countryside on a fresh spring morning. Good.

Bottle from the BSF bar GBBF, consumed at home Thursday 18th August 2016 Pours mid to warm gold with a white head. A good bittersweet balance, I am guessing crystal malt deployed heavily here but this doesnβt overwhelm the hardworking hops. Nice punch hoppiness, I get more piney resinous notes and flavours than citrus but allied with a tropical burst and just a little pithy rub. Really nice. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

Bottle shared @ ChrisO after GBBF Day 2. Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Aroma is malts, quite hoppy, nice light grassy touch. Taste malts, hops, nicely full hoppy flavor, hop bitter and some fruit hops. Medium body and carbonation. Lovely!

Sampled from the tap at Mr. Brews Plover. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has citrus with a bit of grass and some sweet grains backing. Flavor combines sweet grains and citrus with grass underlying.

Pour is a hazy copper with a large white head. Aroma is an ok wintergreen minty pine hop and not much else. Flavor is kind of a Vienna type malt with a lingering pine hop. No real sweetness or bitterness comes out so this is pretty easy but forgettable drinking. 20 years ago this beer would be groundbreaking but in 2016 this was a below par offering.
