Tap at the brewpub. Cloudy, glowing gold with a fine head. Very hoppy nose, citrus, light, dusty funk. Lightly sour flavor, hoppy, creamy, with a quite bitter finish. A very characterful kolsch.

Bottle. Pours a hazy light gold with a very decent head of thick suds that dies down pretty quickly. By the time I reach the top of the stairs and sit down to type there is just a thin film, a ring around the edge of the glass and a little bit of lacing. Aromas are nice... lemon, dough, cloves and a little pepper or something. Flavor is light, refreshing and pretty full. Lots of spice and light citrus balance nicely against that grainy and doughy presence. Palate is clean and simple. Very nice beer.

Bottle from beernavigator. Just past bb-date. Pours cloudy and looks like lemon squash. Grainy nose with scents of lemon, wet grass and springflower. High drinkability, grain, biscuits, flower and citrus. Little bitterness but dry finish. A beer that is hard to stop drinking. Tasty in a subtle way.

Bottle shared at The Kernel, London - thanks to Paul. Pours mostly clear yellow with a fine, frothy white head. Some dry, doughy malts in the nose, hints of lemon. Light sweet flavor, moderate bitter straw, more dry biscuits. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Pale, bready biscuits to finish, mild straw bitterness. Pretty nice.

Bottle shared at Kernel. It pours hazy pale yellow with a medium white head. The nose is straw, grainy, touch of spice, dough and light sulphur (probably because its not too fresh). The taste is pithy lemon, hay, dough, light spice and decent bitterness with a dry finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. A pretty drinkable brew, best suited for a summer day.
