(Bottle) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark bread, oak wood, bourbon, blueberries, mint chocolate, coffee and liquorice. Malty, roasted, sweet taste with notes of dark chocolate, blueberries, oak wood, bourbon, dark bread, a touch of mint, caramel, coffee, vanilla and a mild cacao bitterness in the finish. Full body, sweet. On the sweet side, but rich and tasty, with lots of chocolate, blueberries, vanilla and mint. Very nice.

Tap @ Bøker og Børst, Stavanger. Pitch black body with a small, lacing beige head. Strong and very nice nose of sweetish dark malt, smooth roast, dark chocolate, vanilla, berries (probably blueberry, but I didn’t know that wen drinking it and just noticed berries), some wood and warming, slightly boozy alcohol that could be from aquavit barrels (at least probably not any kind of wine barrel?). Flavor is very sweet and malty, but in a delicious way. Dry fruit, chocolate, caramel, berries and warming alcohol. Full bodied and really long lasting aftertaste. A classic.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is strong blueberries with dark malt, chocolate, sugar, some roast, liquorice, touch of coffee, more blueberries throughout, almost to the point of tasting artificial. Flavour is sweet and sugary with a moderate bitterness. Body is full. Being a fan of the potential of Blueberry Stouts I never thought I'd say this, but a little less blueberry would probably have made this beer more to my liking.

330ml bottle from Brewers Haven. Dark brown pour, small bubbly head. Aroma is roasty with some fruity, sweet notes. Taste delivers light blueberry notes, roasty malts, burnt toast flavors. Dry finish. Subtle, but deep

Bottle at home. Three year old. Pours a dark brown to black colour with a small beige head. Aroma of tobacco, chocolate truffles, smoke, fruited candy, oak, maple syrup and blueberries in the background. Flavour of dark chocolate, ash, tobacco, fruited candy and warming alc in the background. Hint of blueberries. Has a silky mouth feel, full-bodied and a light bitterness. Roasted with nice, fruity tones. One of a kind.

Bottle at Beer Witch: pours murkish black With a beige head. Aroma is thick roast, berries, chocolate. Taste is fairly sweet, berries, but still has the characteristic soy sauce and smokiness that stouts from this part of the world are known for.

Bottle, can't see a date. ABV is 11.9% according to the label. Dark brown with a brief show of head at the rim. 3- Aroma is syrupy with dark sugars, roast, brioche, and blueberries. Very sweet with fudgy and bready notes under a facade of roast that seems more like just dark sugar. Berries are there but less prominent. There's a decent slug of bitterness so the whole thing doesn't overstay its welcome.
