It’s good but it’s dangerous. Aroma and initial taste is big Belgian ipa soapiness. Fruity. Quite unusual. After I reread the name, obviously now I can taste wood and caramel…

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Well-hopped Tripel. Picking up ripe fruits, malt, yeast, some sugar, orange and apricot. Candied fruits. Medium sweet with a light bitterness. Medium body. Very much to my liking.

(Draught at Gist, Brussels, 19 Oct 2022) Golden amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy off-white head. Fruity, malty, hoppy nose with dried fruit, apricots, mango and candy sugar. Malty, fruity hoppy taste with notes of dried fruit, apricots, pineapple, mango, orange peel, candy sugar and a generous herbal bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Complex, well made and really tasty tripel. Very nice.
