Bottle shared at the CBJ BIG BOOSTY XMAS tasting, thanks to lord knows who ... I'd forgotten how many bottles were flying around this night, 13/12/23. Black topped with a thin tan head that veers to the edge. Nose is roast malts, mellow bourbon, coffee cake, toffee, chocolate sprinkle. Taste comprises coffee grinds, dark malts, light spice, booze tunes, chocolate. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost and balanced barrel edge. Solid.

Craft Beer Junction. Xmas bottleshare. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth and semi dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Rich dark malts, good dark chocolate and a little dark chocolate Malteasers. Rich ripe bourbon soaked fruits. Mild spice on the light airy finish. Nice.

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Junction - cheers! Pours black-brown with a small, creamy tan head. Big sweet flavour, gooey dark malts, fudge, chocolate syrup, light earthy bitterness. Full bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, sticky, sweet, lots of dark malts, stewed semi-dark fruits. Tasty.

A sticky black brown coloured pour with a a halo of tan head. Aroma is semi sweet medium sweet, sticky maple, toffee, vanilla. Caramelll. Ok. Flavour is composed of semi sweet oily medium. Sweet, sticky. Oily, moderate carbonation.

Sampled as I should have - at the Hangover fest 2020, whilst being relatively OK, concidering the rain prevented us from getting all to drunk at the actual Wakefest event. Still, that left us with more room to savour this beauty ! Pours black, no real head. Smell is roasty, coconut, rum, oak, intense. Taste is full, intense, rum BA aspects, but nicely, not straight up boozy as rum usually provides. very chocolaty, Coconuts, sweet, coffee. very nice !
