Bottle 33 cl. Reddish color with a slight haze, yellowish foam. Aroma: sweetish, caramel, a little jam, toasted bread and halva. Taste: expectedly sweetish, caramel, lollipops, a little pastry with plum jam, a pleasant bitterness of hops, well balanced brew.

Bottle shared, bought at an alcohol store in nirmal skywin mall, salem. Reddish beer, small head. Aroma is caramel, sweet, rice, malt, caramel. Taste is the same, sweet, grain, malt, caramel. Quite nice.

14/10/2023. Bottle courtesy of the intrepid Painy travels, cheers! Pours slightly hazy caramel amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is toffee, malt, fruits, bread, slightly smoky with an edge of caught rice. Fairly sweet with mild bitterness. Moderate body, oily, soft carbonation. Quite nicely drinkable , a lot better than expected.

Bottle 330ml. @ Moon & Six Pence - The Irish Bar, 🇮🇳 No. 19, Grand Southern Trunk Road, Guindy, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600032, India. [ As Bhutanese Red Rice Lager ]. ABV: 5.0%. Clear medium to dark red amber colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, rice, sweet malt, light caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, grain, rice, light cooked rice - sweet, earthy notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20220227] 5-3-6-3-11

(Thanks, Gene trvlr) Bottle. A- Rice, pancakes, burnt caramel. A- Copper color, clear liquid, minimal head. T- Straw, burnt caramel. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- Unique and happy to have a beer from a country I'd love to visit. Pretty decent.

Red. Not what I expected in a good way. Slightly roasted and sweet. Floral. Medium to full body. Very tasty and easy. I kinda want a lot more of this.

From a bottle at the Namgay Heritage Hotel in Thimphu. Pours a clear pale mahogany with an ecru head. Aromas of rice. Flavors are moderately sweet wet grains.
