Named after Hell Creek, which runs through Omaha and into the Papio creek behind the brewery, this easy drinking lager is perfect for a summer day or anytime you are looking for that traditional taste. With some light malt sweetness and no bitterness, Helles Creek is the perfect compliment to just about everything.

Refrigerated 12 oz. can from shrubber85 poured poured into a mug. Slightly hazy golden with medium white head which dissipates quickly. Aroma is light soft malt, medium/light body, lower carbonation, and very little lacing. Taste is light soft malt.

Creamy barley malt and fresh hay aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate white head. Moderately sweet milk, barley malt, and mildly bitter fresh hay flavor. Nice body and great balance. A superb Helles

Draft at the brewery. Clear in color gold with thin lasting head retention. Aroma is spot on the German recipe. Flavor mimics; Lager yeast, honey hints, grain with a very clean finish. Clean and refreshing for the style.

Draft/Fest. A- Straw, corn, grains. A- Yellow color, clear liquid, white head. T- Tortilla chips. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- I've had many grainy tasting beers but this is the first that tasted like straight up corn chips. A touch on the unique side but decent enough.
