Draft at Rustico Alexandria. Poured a medium-dark orange almost-copper color with a small dull white head. Aroma was really light woody oak notes. Some sweetness, not a lot of tart character coming through in this one, just some woody, pinot funk. Flavor was similar, pinot, woody, with some light strawberry fruit juice finish. Better after warming up a few degrees.

Solid balance like free rock climbing. Crisp yeast and well done barreling. A little grape and citrus peel. Bitter and tangy finish, light and well balanced. Tap at Pizza Paradise.

Clear gold. Fruity, earthy, lightly candied. Medium bodied. Finish is dry. Is there garlic? Wtf? I’m sure I’m crazy but I get it in the finish.

On tap at Boundary Stone, pours a dark orange nearing amber, with a ring of head that faded fast. Nose has some green grape, some lime, a little spice, some bread and grain notes. Flavor has soggy bread, lime, grape, ginger, mild apple cider vinegar. Finishes a touch watery. Did the grapes keep the edge off?
