Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 10/09/23. Black with a khaki head that veers edgewards. Nose is dark malts, booze, cherry skins, chocolate, mellow barrel. Taste comprises dark malts, molasses, light roast, brown sugar melt, chocolate dipped cherries, light booze. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced lick of alcohol. Tidy BA impy.

Panda, courtesy of SHIG, pours with a deep dark colored body that supports a thin mocha colored head of bubbly foam. The aroma offers up boozy chocolate German cake followed by some malts infused with bourbony booze and faint dark fruity like esters. The taste delivers similar notes as my palate is pounced on by a fair load of bourbon booze infused chocolate and growing sweetness. To midway the sweetness gives a little ground to a nice integrated smooth sweet cherry fruit sensation that's working well here. Solid stuff with a nice barrel treatment to beer flavor balance.

Super deep dark brown coloured body with a thick, luscious and oily tan and light brown coloured head - fairly opaque throughout, perhaps around 80%. Aroma of alcohol, bourbon, vanilla, grass, lactose, milk, cream, a dose of oak and ending with dry malts. Medium to Full-bodied; Super deep roasted malt, oak, vanilla and grainy bite with a big profile from the caramel and burnt sugars with a lot of punch and stronger notes from the alcohol, yeast and also from the caramel and molasses, which are noticeable immediately. Aftertaste shows the alcohol and toasted malt, grain, light bitterness and a more refined, if not, simplistic malt note. Aftertaste is pungent with the toasted (but still not roasted) malt (that finishes nice and pungent. Overlal, a deep and robust beer throughout the profiles, but more astringent alcohol than i remember having. Overall,a nice and deep robust beer with a ton of flaours.

Dark chocolate, coconut, almond aroma. Black, medium firm tan head. Dark chocolate, raisin, coconut, cherries. Medium body, easy carbonation. Multi-faceted and deep, but somehow still very approachable and drinkable. A liquid mashup of the trick-or-treat bag at Halloween. Masterful.
