Aroma is Earth funk roast Cocoa. Flavor is kind of odd with the roast is so dominant it almost becomes smokey also the Earth and funk leather lots of black patent the Finish is very bitter. Body is a touch thin for the Imperial Stout. Decent enough not great.

Dark brown body, medium brown head. The aroma has a messy chocolate and alcohol character. On the palate, basically the same. Quite harsh, actually, on the palate. I think it’s mostly just husky, though the alcohol might be a bit too prominent as well. I don’t know - seems poorly refined here.

650mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of toasted malt, dry cocoa and some oats -- very sludgy. Flavour is very sludgy, with earthy malt, some roast and a touch of bitter dry cocoa. Sludgy, earthy and jumbled. This isn't a good example of an impie stout. Needs lots of work.

Black with a beige head. Roasted malts, burnt malt, a bit rough but mellowed by some lingering sweetness. Earth notes, faint cocoa. Body is thinner than expected. Decent.
