On tap at 7 Seas - Tacoma, pours a clear golden with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready English malt and some faint toffee notes. Flavour is clean and smooth, with a nice English bready malt character, light toffee, and the slightest of hop content. Smooth and drinkable, with a very malty but fairly dry finish. Good stuff.

Golden with a white head. Malty, light dough, toasted malt, and light earth notes. Medium bodied. Very British in style. Good if in the mood for that style.

Draft pour. Pours light copper with faint wheat aroma. Very light beer. Drinks super easy, and is quite refreshing. Not a whole lot of flavor here, but I can honestly say I enjoy this. Mild wheat and bready flavor. I’ll order it again. UPDATE: I love drinking a beer, and going to Ratebeer and seeing that I had commented that I would like to try it again. Lots of time between tries. Enjoy this more this time around. A little more.flavorful than I remember. Refreshing hop profile. Good beer.

Hazy copper coloured body with an orange glow and a thinnish, one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of nice toasted malt, earthy hops, a bit of caramelised sugars and a hint of cherries and fruit. Medium-bodied; Strong earthy malts up front with a little sweetness, a hint of fruit and not much else - fairly mild at the end. Aftertaste shows a bunch more earthiness and alcohol and a bit more sugars - fairly nice to finish. Overall, a relatively nice and refreshing beer with some good tastes for the style, but not a complex or great beer - on the more caramel and fruity side of EPAs, but nice. I sampled this 50 cL can purchased from Whole Foods in Seattle (WestLake), Washington on 08-February-2013 for US$2.99 sampled at home in [the real] Washington on 27-February-2013.

Pint can. Pours copper with a medium, bubbly head. The aroma is honey, floral hops, pine, and corn. The flavor is mild bitterness and a good malty sweetness. Medium body, with a velvety, silky feel. Overall, this is a good, well balanced pale ale. Nothing special or complex, but tasty.

This brew pours a clear copper-orange color with a medium thick and frothy white head that diminishes slowly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted malt, floral hops and citrus. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, hops, and fruit. The finish is sweet with a lingering malty aftertaste. Above average all around.

Can from Whidbey Beer Works. Pours light copper with a 3 finger foamy off-white head. Aroma is floral over light caramel. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is very light caramel, almost pale malt, with some mild florality. Finish is quite dry. Bitter is not strong. It’s arguably over the pond stuff. Drinks well.

16 oz pint can, purchased at the Beer Authority in Lake City, Seattle. A little bit of gunk seemed to have seeped out of the top lid. Pour is almost entirely clear golden orange with a well formed two inch white head the falls slowly with foam and lacing. Aroma is mild cereal grain, along with soft floral hop and a whisper of lemon sourness. Mostly clean, the seepage did not seem to impact the nose. Taste is the toasted cereal grain, along with some breadiness and the floral hop character of the nose. Finishes dry, almost dusty. A touch of the sour shows up in the aftertaste, and disappears completely as it warms. Palate is medium, a bit mouth coating, nice prickly carbonation. This has a nice drinkable body to it, nice.
