Poured from 330mL bottle (dated 2016.08.27). Dark brown with minimal off white head. Light roast malt and milk chocolate. Watery, bitter finish. Not great, but better than I expected based on the other reviews.

Vom Faß im Three Monkeys, Nampo-dong, Busan (als „Black monkey"). - Tiefes Kastanienbraun, trüb; sahniger heller Schaum. - IPA-Nase zunächst schwach säuerlich-seifig, jedenfalls wenig überzeugend. - Antrunk weich und nur schwach röstmalzig, dafür mit milder aber deutlicher Säure und milder Zitronenschale, wenig Stout-typisch. Gut rezent, erfrischend leicht, etwas trocken. Im Abgang milde Malzbittere und zarte Hopfenherbe. - Nach kurzer Gewöhnung durchaus trinkbar, wenn auch kein gelungenes Stout - dafür fehlt es an Röstaromen. Das Bier ist aber so gut, daß man diese bald kaum noch vermißt.

Dark. Medium to thin body. Light roast and chocolate with a relatively strong earth profile. Not a big fan of this one.

Taster at 7Brau Gangnam. Stout 5.5% pours a reddish cola brown with a filmy beige head. The nose is syrupy chocolate. Med-light bodied with a scratchy carbonation. The taste is toasty chocolate. Simple but tasty flavors. Alright.
