Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours golden with small white head that lasts. The aroma is roast and green peppers. Slick body, cocoa, roast, bitter finish, good.

500ml bottle from Tavour. Nose is a little coffee mixed up with Malt O Meal hot cereal with hints of citrus and vanilla. Lightly hazy yellow gold with a big, lightly lacing, off white head. Flavor is malty with hints of coffee, bitterness, and sweetness. Different animal.

500 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a large white head. A sweet coffee nose. The flavor is sharp sweet coffee, vanilla, spices, cloves. Ok. Not a big coffee forward fan but a solid beer.

500ml bottle thanks to rick. Pours out a golden topped with a small head. Nose is coffee vegetable earthy hops and a cereal malt. Taste is more of the earthy hops a acidic real coffee presents.

On tap at Loyal Legion, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma doesn't really bring much coffee out, just cereal malts and bready notes. Flavour is light, with toasted cereal malts and subtle coffee. Not really that coffee-ish, with a dry cereal malt. Meh.

So, I’m not sure why this is so different than the other rating so far. I have a DMS BOMB, cooked vegetables completely. Seems like it would be nice otherwise. The coffee is light and accentuates the golden base ale. Yucky DMS.

Medium copper with a white head. Fresh brewed mocha coffee, sweet fruit, chocolate, lots of hazelnut, berry. Not at all what I pictured. Sweet, soft hazelnut. Very drinkable. Not like a coffee stout that tastes like a cup of black coffee. More mocha and hazelnut and lightly sweet. Outstanding.
