Draught from the Tiger’s brooklyn event. Cloudy and Earthy, not a bad keller beer at all.

Location: Draft at HopScotch, 8/31/12
Aroma: Nose has some citrus, yeast, and other fruity notes
Appearance: The pour is clear and gold, with a small white head, and spotty lace
Flavor: The taste is light-medium sweet, with german yeast, light spice, and light bitterness
Palate: This brew is light bodied with a soft carbonation, and an alright mouthfeel
Overall Impression: Solid stuff. For me, this was not an amazing beer, but definitely solid.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of dry grassy hops and grains - quite subtle on the nose. Flavour of dry grassy hops, grainy malt and a touch of sweetness that becomes more pronounced the more you drink. Well-balanced with more restrained hops than I expected given the menu's description of it being a “hoppy kellebier”. Solid stuff nevertheless.

On tap at The Hay Merchant. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a small frothy off white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is wheat citrus and lemon peel. Thin mouthfeel with a lemon and citrus with a light dry finish. Easy to drink a good kellerbier from Brooklyn.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy pale blond color. Light aroma of cereals. Light mouthfeel, smooth; crispy flavor, some malt and cereals; correct bitterness.
A bit simple, but still quite pleasant.

Clear gold with a white head. Aroma was lightly grainy, a bit of hops, grassy, and light sweetness. Medium bodied. Lightly grassy flavor with grainy malt notes, too. Nicely refreshing. Good beer.
