Bottle. Brown color, hazy. Oak, madeira, slightly herbal aroma with dried fruit. Well matured flavor with dried fruit, grapes, olives and madeira. Sweet, of course, but enough to compensatie. Some tart notes. Nice.

Bottle. Color: Nutbrown, off-white head. Aroma: Malt, hints of caramel. Taste: Pretty sweet, malt, notes of caramel, dates, sweet red wine (madeira?). Hints of molasses, alcohol, nuts. Moderate to medium bitterness. sticky mouthfeel, sirupy. Over medium body, soft carbonation. Ok, but a tat too sweet for me.

330 ml. bottle @ Cerveteca Lisboa. Murky brown amber, little head, bit ugly looking. Extremely red wine in the nose, red wine syrup, oxidized in a good way thick dark fruits & date syrup. Taste is flat red fruit syrup, medicine, dried fruity tasty thick massively vinous sludge, dark fruit syrup, Madeira is massive, whole is messy, confusing but also quite tasty. Challenging, brave, neat.
