Slightly unclear pale golden colour, tall very loose white foamy head, good lacing. Aroma wort, sweet malt, very grainy, grassy hops. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grainy, hint of citrus, sugar cane. Light to medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, dry sweetbitter aftertaste, bit more bitterness, light fruity notes, could use more malt, interesting lager, overall nice.

Poured from a 16 oz can. Aroma is grain forward with nice adjunct notes. Light floral and slightly fruity hop notes and esters. No phenolics or sulfur notes. Faint diacetyl. Pours a rather clear, yellow gold with a medium sized, medium thick, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers thin on the edges. Flavor is slightly sweet, less than expected from the aroma, with moderate grain notes and a light bread note. Low bitterness and faint hop notes and esters. Slightly fruity and floral with faint phenolics. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent lager. A bit more of a fermentation profile than I like to see, but it's not a bad one. Just a bit more floral and fruity than necessary. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cherish The Day (2023-) on 15 Feb 2024 at 05:21 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5. Original review text: Poured from a 16 oz can dated January 17, 2024. Aroma is fairly hop forward with lots of tropical citrus, grapefruit and tangerine notes with lighter hints of guava and passion fruit. Light dank, oily resin notes. Faint alcohol notes. Light bready grain notes. Pours a slightly hazy, pale, yellow-gold color with a medium sized, moderately thick, frothy, white head that recedes quickly to a small, thin film that lingers on the edges. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor has a medium sweetness with light bready grain notes. Fairly high bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong hop notes of grapefruit, tropical citrus and dank, piney resin which lingers in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent beer but I'm not sure the West Coast pilsner trend is doing it for me. The body is sweet and not nearly crisp and dry enough to make this super crushable. The hop aroma is great but the flavor is a bit too bitter and not particularly fruity.

Can at home. Clear golden with faint head. Hay, malty sweetness, some banana toffee, grassy bitterness. Like an amped up macro profile wise.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours pale gold with a white head. Aroma is strong hop - pale stone/citrus/grass. Med body. Flavor is pale stone fruit/grass/not much citrus. It’s fairly dry; fairly hoppy; lightly juicy in a non-NE way. Very impressive flavor for 4.9%. Nicely done. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cherish The Day (2023-) on 27 Feb 2023 at 01:37 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8.5. Original review text: Can from Corti Bros. Pours translucent gold with a large foamy white head that laced down. Aroma is very grapefruit. Med body. Juicy but dry. Flavor is grapefruit, even a hint of zest, with pale malt support. Delightfully bitter. Excellent flavor.
