Bottled at Ottawa gathering. Dark brown, creamy beige head. Fruity nose with husk and grain. Dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Slightly burnt toast, licorice and grain. Hints of citrus. Not a lot of Belgo-yeast character. Long bitter finish.

From my dear brother: pours dark brown with a fluffy beige head. Aroma is loghtly roasted malts, a hint of coffee, with a light farmhouse aroma. Taste starts out on the porter roasty side, but as you get used to it, the saison side comes out round the end. Not bad.
