O:7.53 V:4.54 G:8.52 C:4.32 G:15.07 T:39.98

Clean amber colour with a little golden highlights, a light-beige, bubbly head that lasts a bit, leaving some small spots on the glass and a soapy ring on the brew. Malty, darker malt aromas (caramel, a tad roasted barley). Wet mouthfeel showing off a touch of the roasted malts, with hints of caramel malt base and decent hops cutting a little the thickness. Quite a nice Session ale that reminds me of an ESB. Would be nice to have on cask, but the carbonation is mild here representing this.

A dark amber ale with a very thin lacing off white head. In aroma, a sweet grainy malt with light grassy hops, a bit faint, OK. In mouth, a nice smooth sweet malt with caramel notes, light British hops, some light acidity, still nice. On tap at brewpub, Dec. 26 2011.
