pitch black pour, aroma of roasted malt, some light sweet cherry, and a touch of lactic funk. The cherries, come through a bt, but are dominated by all the roasted malt, and the hops are pretty muted, they add some bitterness to the finish and thats about it.

Aroma of cherries with sour ale notes. Has a dark near black body with a good level of head. Flavour is cherries and coffee, but they’re not working well together. Medium finish. This one needs some more refinement to get to greatness.

Draft: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a light dirty brown color head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of cherry blossom with dark chocolate and light roasted malt. Taste is quite reminiscent of the cake of the same name with added black chocolate notes and some lactose though I could be wrong. Body is nice with a creamy texture and good carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Very well done and quite singular.
