330mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a fast-dissipating beige head. Nose is full of cookie dough, Belgian yeast, toffee, and molasses. Flavour reveals plenty of Belgian yeast, toffee, some dark fruit, lots of cookie dough, and alcohol. Moderately sweet and quite cookie-like. A bit on the boozy side. Not a top tier quad, but it's well-made.

BB 11/12/21, Batch 102; Clean & solid aroma of Belgian Strong Dark Ale, candi sugar, caramel, raisins, syrup, notes of cherry wine & red wine, low wine like tartness, mild cola, hints of spicy alcohol in the background, subtle wood from the hops

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep brown with red chinks. Off white to fawn head. Nose - tar, wood, molasses and an edge of smoke. Taste - more molasses and again an edge of smoke. Palate - medium to full bodied. Crunchy texture, dry finish. Overall - great stuff.

Bottle from Beers of Europe shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of molasses, light smoke, tobacco, tar. Taste is more of the same. Quite light body for the strength.

Smoked Cookie!

This is a very light quad, but it is tasty for what’s there. It almost seems too smooth for 9%. But a quad should be 10-12. Had nice sipping belgian dark candi flavors though. Online etre bier
