Cask ale, half at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell. Crystal clear golden coloured body. Just a bubbly ring on the surface. Minimal lacing. Mid-sweet pale malty aromas added by hints of dried fruits. Fruit hoppy taste of peaches joined by juicy malts. Fruit bitterness to the ending. Mild oily palate. Fine bodied for the low abv. Well made (London 28.09.2014).

Fra cask på The Harp, Covent Garden 24 Sep 14. Veldig lys gyldenbrun. Middels høyt skum som varer. Svak fruktaroma. Litt tynn smak av grapefrukt. Blir syrligere etter hvert. Last visit to the old The Harp? Fuller’s next. A bit sceptical about the takeover. It will be difficult to maintain the atmosphere and beer quality with a new management.

Cask (The Harp, Charing Cross) - Golden in colour. Gooseberries, grapefruit and lemon feature in both the aroma and the tangy and hoppy taste. Refreshing and enjoyable.

Had this at Oxford Beer Festival, Oxford, Thursday 17th October 2013 Light gold in colour with a slim head of white dancing bubbles, clarity is excellent, best looking beer so far. A little butteryness on nose is only just edged out by citrus. Sweet golden beer that is lacking a little bite, it is hoppy and with a reasonable bitterness but it is found wanting a little and is no match for the two Clarkshaw efforts. A6 A5 T6 P3 Ov12 3.2
