Oak aged Brettanomyces ale with peaches

The path for Sinners and Saints alike was forged in the Garden of Eden. The decision to eat from the tree of knowledge led to the Genesis of Shame. Banished from the Garden for their actions, the rest of us now suffer the fate of their choice. It sucks.

Thankfully, there is no shame lurking in this bottle of beer. In fact, there’s nothing but delicious goodness waiting for you. We’ve blended oak aged beer from one of our foeders, married it with a fresh blond base beer, and kissed the whole thing with peaches [not from Eden’s Garden, mind you] to hopefully deliver us from that hell known as shame.

(thanks for sharing!) Sampled draft @ The Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. Day 1. Pale golden, soapy white head. Nose is weird soapy, brett, cleaning products. Taste is odd soap, cleaning products, brett,… Soap, cleaning products body. Quite disappointing given the brewery and description.

Tasting at Oakes' Manor, corked
Violent gusher. Cloudy blond color. Bready aroma, delicate coriander, somehow like a Wit beer. Still highly carbonated, simplistic flavor profile, some banana esters in the final.
Ok beer.

Tap. Golden color with white head. Aroma is peach, spicy yeasts, dough. Taste is sweet peach, dough, peppery yeast. Silky mouthfeel. Nice, but a bit too sweet

Cloudy, pale. Bubbly. Foamed up when the bottle opened. On the nose, I get the peach, and I also get some wood notes. Way too fizzy, This masks a lot of the flavours - if there is complexity in here, I'm not able to fight through the fizz to find it. So a little bit disappointed by this overdone carbonation.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden orange with a large white head. Aroma is quite wild, with a decent amount of funk and farmhouse notes. Flavour is intense, with lots of spicy yeast, some funk, and some light sweetness. Extremely high carbonation and spiciness, to the point of disturbing the throat. It's okay.
