Tap at the brewery tap. Golden colour with small white head. Not much aroma. Just a touch of wheatiness. Taste is almost without bitterness. Not really IPA like at all. Nice and crisp palate.

Amber, toasty, malt-forward amber ale, nothing ipa, and the malts aren’t all that refined.

Bottle - Hazy brown in colour. Dried fruit, spicy malt and marzipan in the aroma. Tangy, fruity and malty taste with raisins, marzipan and fruitcake. Not bad at all, but definitely not an IPA.

On draught at the Hyogo Beer Oktoberfest in Kobe. This really shouldn’t be called an IPA. There are no hops noticeable at all, and the strength really isn’t there either. That said, it is a nice, malty beer. Call it a brown ale or an ESB. Smokey, lots of caramel and dark malts. Decent fruits. No hops.
