Hazy copper, sticky beige head. Caramel malts, and very earthy, grassy hops. The malts are sweet and biscuity, with light notes of pine. The booze comes through a bit in the end. Finish is quite bitter, and floral. Light lemon zest, and oranges. Interesting hop.

Pours a clean golden-amber colour with a creamy warm cap that has great retention and loads of sticky lacing. Fruity malt nose with some rusty water. Notes of oranges and light grass. I feel no alcohol in here, so well-hidden. Again, fruity taste with some light bitterness from the hop. Does get more bitter with time, and actually better overall. Was not a fan of this hop at first, but it is milder than most and gives a different twist on the IIPA.

Pas un fan de ce houblon... La qualité y est mais pour une double IPA, elle aurait pu être plus tranchante. Bel équilibre.

Bottle: Poured a light amber color ale with a nice large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of fruity hops with nice floral undertones and some grassy notes. Taste is also dominated by the fruity hoppy notes with grassy and light grapefruit notes also perceptible. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nice way to showcase of this new type of hops.

A total mess. Surprisingly bad from one of my favourite Quebec brewers. Nothing really comes together correctly here. Booze is overbearing as is a sharp, raw-tasting hops. Very wooden and astringency. This is a Frankenstein experiment they should have kept locked in the basement. Tap at Vices et Versa.

A golden amber DIPA with a thin mocha head. In aroma, biscuit malt with faint grassy hops, doughy notes, not bad. In mouth, biscuit malt with loads of alcohol, grassy hops, doughy character, OK at best.

Bouteille 500ml. Couleur orangée translucide, mousse beige aérienne, aucune dentelle. Arôme herbal, foin, alcool léger, agrumes, malt, mais le tout un peu discret. Goût d’orange amère, alcool, malt, caramel pâle, amertume moyenne surtout en fin de bouche. Carbonation moyenne, corps moyen-faible.
