Cask Days 2013. Red, almost pink pour, with an off white head. Aroma of musty cherries, some light funk, and a little tart berry. Watery mouthfeel, and soft carb. The finish is a little funky, with some nondescript sweet/tart berry.

Pours a hazy strawberry-looking, amber-pink-red colour with a fizzy head that disappears quickly with no lacing left. Big chunky yeast floating all around. Sweet and sour notes with the cherries and their typical medicinal-plastic hop scent. Hints of candy from the yeast. The taste is more bitter than sweet, sour or fruity. Nothing exciting compared to Belgian Kriek.

Bottle from the brewery. It pours a reddish-pink deep cloudy copper. The aroma is in your face Brett, musty cherry /strawberry. The taste is tart cherry, a bit sour lactic wheatiness but very approachable. Medium bodied with a lively rough effervescence.

A hazed reddish amber ale with a very thin off white head. In aroma, very nice sweet cherry and earthy malt with light acidity. In mouth, a sweet corky cherry malt with musty character, light butterscotch, OK but lacking body. Cask Days 2013.

Bouteille 330ml.
