Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza 2017 - London. Pours black-brown with a tan foam head. Pretty sweet, moderately gooey, notes of rocky road, fudge, dark berries. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming and sticky to finish, some roast, more dark berries. Tasty beer on the whole.

Bottle shared by Jerohen @ Caesar's mancave. Opaque black color, medium sized light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, heavy bourbon, vanilla. Taste malts, heavy bourbon and vanilla again, maybe slight chocolate notes, sweet bourbon notes and malt bitter overall. Oily texture, full body, soft carbonation. Very pleasant, lovely beer.

Beaverfest. Day 1. Keg. Clear brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, fairly dry. Smooth dry dark malts. Dry thin dark chocolate malt. Touch of coconut. Mellow dark fruits. Barely there. Light dry finish brings a little spice. Nice flavour but the body is thin and dry.

Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. It pours opaque darkest brown with a small light tan head. The aroma is rich, sweet chocolate caramel, toffee, millionaires shortbread, crunchy, slick, oily, maltesers and cocoa. The taste is slick, sweet, roasted malt, maltesers, mars bar, chocolate, toffee, oaky bourbon, toasted brown sugars, booze, earthy coffee, damp wood, leather and light spice with some alcohol warmth through the finish. Full body and fine carbonation. A bit earth and woody after a while. Decent enough, but it didn't wow me.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is loaded with toasted coconut upfront, followed by bourbon barrels and plenty of alcohol. Flavour is along the same lines, with bourbon barrels, vanilla and light coconut. Heavy and well-balanced, with lots of depth. Excellent.

Sample at What The Funk!? on 10/04/2017. The beer pours black with some brown around the edges, and a medium thick tan head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Patchy lacing. Aroma of bourbon, roasted malt, chocolate and coconut. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, chocolate malt, toasted coconut and vanilla. The finish is oaky and roasty with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.
