Tap. Leeds International Beer Festival. Just about black. Ring of dense, tan head. Nose has roast coffee malts. Fresh coffee bean. Some dark chocolate. Don’t get the raspberry, but there’s a fruity tang. Taste is light, vinous sweet. Some earthy, coffee bean bitterness. Rich, smooth mouthfeel. Coffee bean bitter finish. As a coffee porter or coffee stout, this works well, but there is no raspberry and very little chocolate to be had here. Still fairly decent, mind.
