Originally rated July 2005. This honey brown from Rickard’s pours a brown colour with orange highlights. The head does not last as long as their pale and red. Lacing is not bad. The scent is of caramel malt with some floral notes. The taste though, is very smooth... almost missing. Ah... found it ! It’s in the background. Not much there, slight bitterness and sweetness. Hardly any aftertaste. Close of being refreshing.

Bottle - pours a deep brown. Ordinary lager, thin mouthful. Inferior to Rickard's Red.

Bouteille 341ml.

Conitnuing to clean up the fridge! Evil Hog Town Harry sent me this. HAHAHA! A reddish copper ale with a thick creamy off white head. A light cream corn aroma with no honey. In mouth, a caramel concoction which is sickly sweet, very light hops, and nothig much else really. Into the ham pot it will go. It wont go to waste. Any beer is fine with beer cooked ham, really.

Sampled draught. Reddish brown. Sweet, light-medium bodied, clean mouthfeel,. Somewhat roasty, no bitterness. Very one-dimensional.

Nice looking but notinh else. Musty nose. Very antiseptic flavor ending in a horrible cigar butt dirty finish. Possibly one of the worst 3 ever

Nice brown beer with medium head that goes away in no time. The honey taste is almost non existent. This is a standardized beer brewed to ensure it pleased to the standard North American beer drinker (as usual with beer brewed by Molson, Labatt...)
