Tap at Murphy’s, The Hague Bottleshare. Hazy pale amber with white head. Sweet malts, yoghurty yeast, apricot, fruity. Moderate sweet and bitter, light sour. Medium body and soft carbonation. Very tasty.

(London 2017) 1/2 Pint Keg @ Waterloo Tap. Quite hazy golden, white head, disappearing. Nose is interesting sour fruity flowers, lovely sour candy. Taste is low sour, Napoleon candy, sour hop, lemon sour candy, sour hop, flowers. Low acidity. Really well done for what it is, more lovely than some hyped names. Simple but very satisfying.

Mother Kelly’s. Keg. Very hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Winey nose. Light palate, semi dry and finely crisp. Orange in to smooth winey grape. Trace of lemon. Light grapey finish. Nicely done, shows the hop off and is not over sour.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s - London. Pours murky orange with a creamy, white head. Juicy citrus in th nose, lime, melon, tangerine, orange zest. Light sweet flavour, drying, with notes of lemon Smarties, faint grass, wheat, low acidity. Light in body with spritzy carbonation. Clean on the finish, dry and refreshing, with more tangerine, a little rindy bitterness. Really nice.

Pours a hazy dull orange coliur with a lasting smooth frothy head. A fruity aroma, marmalade and passion fruit. An initial sharp tart taste reminiscent of green apples and sour lemons; unexpected given the sweet aroma. A nice crisp dry finish.
