Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear black with an orangey red tint and a creamy, beige head. Nose is mainly roast with a licorice touch. Based on the aroma alone this could almost pass as a Stout. Medium body, still mainly roast and Stout notes only with a slight, underlying suggestion, that a different yeast may be used here. The idea behind a Black Saison would normally be to get the black color without the roastiness. 090719

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen (25/06/2017) - pours black with a beige head. Dark malty, medium sweet and toasty, cocoa and notes of caramel, some fruity notes, hoppy backing, with some peppery spice in the finish.

Bottle from the brewery. Black with stable, airy light beige head. Yeasty, fruity aroma, some roasted malt. Roasted, yeasty flavour. Has some dark sugar-sweetness. Fruity, malty with the yeast getting a little rough in the finish.

Tap @ Cafe Albert, Fanø tap take over. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, fruits, chocolate, hops, flowers and has a nice feuity finish.
