Clear dark red brown, beige head. Caramely, light spicy aroma. Caramely flavour, dark sugar and light spice. Some light licorice notes too.

Bottle. Pours clear dark ruby with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel and fruit, with notes of herbs and gingerbread spice. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt, yeast,mfruit, ginger,myou name it herbs, hops, yeah, Christmas, man. Sweetish, estery afteraste. with notes of herbs. Unicum plus? Reasonable.Sweet. Teddy Bear’s delight.

Bottle, 7.2%. Spicy aroma. Seemingly clear dark brown colour. Small frothy and stable off-white head. The flavour is quite sweet with a distinct ginger note and some sweet dried fruits. Creamy mouthfeel.

50 cl bottle. Pours dark brown to amber with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted malt. Light caramelish. Light spiced, phenolic, cloves, herbal and roasted malty. Bitter and cloves like spiced finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy, reddish amber with a yellowish head. Very unpleasant herbal aroma, as in old day cough syrup - with some underlying phenols. Rich, sweet body, low carbonation, extremely sweet and an entire hell hole of spices that don’t work well together at all. Add to that quite some phenols and you have a miserable excuse for a beer. 221015

Bottle @ Odense Tasting January, 2015. Pours unclear amber with a creamy head. Spicy nose. Anis, coriander - Amagerhylden. Medium bodied. Overspiced and one dimensional.
