Backlog January 2016. Clear dark golden body under a dense tan head. Fine, rather mild aroma of caramel malt and ginger. Taste is sweet with malt and ginger. Medium body and same aftertaste. Feels quite plain and straight forward.

Tåkete brun med høyt beige skum. Lukter skog, pepper, ingefær og kokte grønnsaker. Middels fylde. Kort.

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 17.01.17. A gusher. Copper. Huge and foamy beige head. Fine aroma of medium dark malt, dried fruits. Taste of rye bread, grain, biscuits, medium dark malt and grapes. Taste is ruined by gross overcarbonation.

Mild bitterhet i ettersmaken. Halvtørr.

0.33l bottle from #0037. Wants out of the bottle this and in the glass it pours a massively overcarbonated foamy mess of a beer. Cloudy and rusty brown in color. Huge dirty head. It smells like a overcarbonated one for sure. Also there's tones of both dry paper, old coffee and dirty water. Not the most pleasant aroma unfortunately. It gets better after a while in the glass though. It's quite aggressive on the carbonation and thin near watery in the mouth. Dry papery in the taste also. Sorry but I'm starting to struggle to find any reason why to make a beer like this. It's not very good, interesting or even drinkable. Needless to say this was no favorite. 07.01.2017

330ml bottle, #0037, bought at Gulating Tromsø. Slowly gushing bottle. Foamy, off-white head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass. Cloudy dark brown body. Modest aroma of spiced Christmas tree. Display a mild variety flavours of brown malts, juniper and berries. Malt-berry endnotes. Foamy in the mouth. Accepted, far from great (Tromsø 20.12.2016).
