0.33l bottle. This is a dark amber colored one, cloudy and a tiny quickly sidesticking off-white head. It smells like burnt chocolate and diacetyl. Quite bad actually. Earthy caramel, butter and burnt rye bread. Not a pleasant aroma at all really. Tastes pretty horrible also. It's as earthy and burnt as they get. Thin oily on the texture and below average on the carbonation. A little harsh old bitterness here. Tastes like it has been stored for decades. Not sure what they were thinking when they sent this out on the marked, but it's definitely not something they should be proud of. At all. 08.08.2015

Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting. ABV is 4.7%. Deep golden colour, white head. Weak aroma, a hint of toffee, not unpleasant though. Moderate flavour, medium dry, again not unpleasant, but the juniper is not detected. A hint of toffee again, moderate hops.

Flaske delt på RBHD-samling, hjemme, mai-16: klar gylden med ok skum. Søtlig aroma og smak, mildt humlet. Litt krydder. Men alt i svært beskjedne mengder. Lett å drikke, men såå kjedelig. Eineren kjenner jeg overhode ikke spor etter.

Bottle. An unclear, dark amber to brown beer topped by a small, beige head. The aroma is sort of woody, juniper twigs and caramel. Toffee notes in the flavor, with dried fruits, roasted hints, juniper twigs and a faint bitterness. Medium body and a very soft carbonation. Toffee and touch of juniper in the finish. Rather boring this one, but at least it’s clean. 151110

Hazed nutty color with a fine off white head. Caramel malty and herbal aroma. Medium body and an ok carbonation. Moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Is it juniper here? Ehhh where? Caramel malt dominated, a bit bready and herbal. Nothing wrong with this one. Not very good either.
