Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. 6,6%. Mørk amber. Middels høyt tett skum med litt farge. Daler sakte og etterlater pen lacing. Aroma av sherry & nøtter. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken balansert. Som aromaen + hint av plommer & sukkertøy. Tørr vinøs ettersmak. Grei - men vel søt.

330 ml bottle, batch #54, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.6%, IBU 37. Deep brown colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of brown malts, brown bread, rye bread, some caramel, a hint of prunes. The flavour is malty but not overly sweet, with the same elements as in the aroma, also decent hops with spicy hints.

Medium beige head. Barely translucent hazy deep dark brown body with carbonation. Caramelly toffee aroma with sugary cinnamon notes. Sweet fruity spicy caramelly taste with musty cellary notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, slightly flat mouthfeel. Sweet cinnamon and cloves aftertaste with caramel notes. Lingering roasty cocos finish. It’s nice in parts, but a little lacking in character in others. (0.33l bottle, not sure where from.)

KØLF 070417. Dark amber color with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, apple, coffee. Flavor is roasted malt, apple, coffee, hop, pine, chocolate, grain. OK beer.

Bottle. Clear brown/amber body with a small, lacing tan head. Aroma has malt, toast and some ash. Flavor is sweet malt, light roast, toast, some chocolate and some bitterness. Balanced body and average aftertaste. Quite OK without being outstanding.

Bottle at home. Pours clear copper with beige head. Aroma of dark dried fruits, coffee, chocolate, metal, alcohol, a little sipces. Taste bitter with some sweetness. Extremly bitter finish, unbalanced. Quite dry, medium bodied.

330ml bottle, batch 54, 6.6 % abv, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Patchy, beige head over a cloudy dark brown body added by a shade of orange. Spotty lacing. Restrained aroma of dark bread, slightly roasted. Nicely roasted dark malty flavours, hints of liquorice, bread and dark caramel. Roasted malt bitter ending with a delicate touch of pine needles. Medium bodied. Likable Yuletide feel (Tromsø 02.01.2017).

On tap @ Una. This is deep dark almost brownish black one with a big lasting and lacing off-white head. Smells licorice and spices. Hard to tear apart, well integrated aromas. some chocolate in the blend also - the wrapping kind. Tastes decent also but it has that little cardboard thing that I dont' fancy. I get some mild clove. Somewhat sweet, while in the mouth its thin oily and creamy on the carbonation. Not a huge flavor bomb, but definitely drinkable. 16.01.2016

Black stuff with a fine beige head. Ok lacing. Roasted, coffee and fruity aroma with an ok intensity. Medium (+) body and a soft carbonation. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Roasted, coffee and mild fruity. Hmm I did not get some Christmas feeling when I poured this down. A bit to mild of everything.
