Backlog May 2014. Clear, dark amber body under a fine, big, off-white head. Aroma has light roasted, dark malt and pine. Taste is roasted malt, fruity hops, pine and balanced bitterness. Balanced body and pleasant aftertaste. Sure a fine and well made black IPA this is.

0.75ml bottle at home, from Oslo, 29th September 18. Pours surprisingly clear, not black, medium dark brown. Aroma is aromatic, citrus and roasty. Taste is aromatic, hoppy, blossom, citrus, roasty, like a hoppy brown ale. Delicious roasty, aromatic hopped up BIPA. Very good.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours black with dense beige head. Aroma of tropical fruits, some chocolate, some roasted notes. Tastes bitter with some sweetness. Medium bodied, slightly bitter finish.

Bottle at B�din, �lfestival, Bod�. Has a deep brown to black colour with a small beige head. Roasted aroma with pine, grapefruit, coffee and some chocolate. The flavour has more hops with grapefruit, pine and some ash and grass in a dry ending. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and medium bitterness. A well-hopped BIPA.

From tap at Bøker&Børst with AT, HF, DPS, IA and RMG 05.04.17. Ruby to ebony. Small and dimishing beige head and lacing. Very moderate aroma of juniper, pine and cough medicine. Taste of coffee, star anise, vanilla, coffee and roasted malt. Combination of cough medicine, star anise and grapefruit bitterness is lingering on.

On tap @ Henrik. Not to much of a head on this one button what's there is sidesticking and light beige in color. This on top of a deep dark Cola brown thing with a slight ruby cut when holding it up against the light. Smells absolutely lovely. Lots of fresh hoppy sweet goodness with pine, tropical fruits, peaches and it just screams fresh and fruity.! Scary tasty as well. It feels quite gliding and light oily in the mouth and it has a comfortable small prickling carbonation level. Lots of fresh bitterness here! It also has a dark touch, not directly roasted more coffee dark. Really grassy bitter resinous tail on this one, and it's refusing to let go. A really nice creation in all so many ways. Svart med høyt beige skum. Lukter sitrusskall, noe trevirke og kakaobønner. Middels bitterhet, sitrus, mørk sjokolade. Kakaopulversmaken kommer kraftig mot slutten, men ikke lang avslutning. Lite sødme. Noe salt.

Olmost black with a dark off white head - Aroma has some roasted malt and some fruity hop - Roasted malt body with a fruity hop flavour that gives some bitterness in the back - The roasted malt and fruity hop goes into the finish and ends somewhat dry - This was nice

My goodness. One of the best black hop juice for a long time. Recommendable fro alle bipa lovers this one!
Almost complete black color with a fine beige head. Nice lacing and a fine lacing down the glass. Perfect hoppy aroma, together with some other stuff. Almost full body and a smooth fine carbonation. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. A bit dry ending. Grapefruit hoppy, mild tropical, coffee, some chocolate and mild roasted flavor.
