Vom Fass im Stone Brewing Berlin 2017-11 getrunken. Dieses Stout ist für mich Geschmacklich eine Stilverfehlung und würde eher zu ein Fränkisches (Imperial) Dunkel / Tmavý passen. Es hat einen vollen Körper, ein deutlicher Hopfeneinfluss und schöne Malzaromen. Nicht schlecht, auch wenn keine Nüssearomen zu finden sind.

Keg at Three Johns. It pours jet black with a sturdy tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, chocolate, toasted nut, snickers, light spice, dried fruits, fruit cake, earth, toffee and wood. The taste is rich roasted malt, charred wood, earthy, toasted nut, cocoa, chocolate cake, snickers, quite savoury, leather, spice and some ash with a slick and toasty nut finish. Full body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Nice aroma, the taste is a touch too savoury if anything. Decent stuff overall.

Keg at the three johns, as freds super stout. Pours black, nose is caramel, smoky, chocolate, taste is similar, light vanilla, bitter, roasted.

Draught @ Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Pours pitch black with a smooth light brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, vanilla, cocoa, coffee and chocolate. Taste is sweet and roasty with some licorice, syrup, coffee, chocolate and loads of vanilla. Finish is sweet, creamy and roasty with some milk chocolate, vanilla, syrup and toffee. Sweet and heavy.

@ Craft Essen. Great deep malty beginning. Slightly malty deep sticky beginning. Caramel, wood. Hints of bourbon from the wood. Great and deep, woody caramelly dry with a moderate smooth bitterness Fantastic!! 4.6
