Tap at Bishops Arms. Opaque black colour, good creamy beige head. Licorice, coffee, alcohol in the medicinal nose. Medium-bodied to full-bodied. Licorice, Jägermeister, burnt malta, alcohol and cold coffee in the flavour. Warming. Too medicinal for my liking.

Draft. Buggar - Greg got to taste this one before me, but he tasted it at my bar, which is mindbogling for me. It is a black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, alcohol, and soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, soy sauce, chocolate, and bread, leading to a bitter finish.

(thanks for sharing!) Sampled draft @ The Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. Day 1. Tasting glass. Black with solid mocha head. Nose is far too umami, herbal, molasses, raw vegetable coffee. Taste is too harsh raw overly bitter roast, harsh umami. Bitter, dry roots. Bit too much for me, not as super as hoped .

Draught. Very dark brown colour. Very big and very creamy tan head. The aroma seems fruity and citric. The flavour is quite spicy with cinnamon, cream, toffee notes. Vanilla, cigar box aftertaste. Finishes with a bit of alcohol bitterness. Not boozy as such, but definitely could have done with less alcohol.

Draught @ Fox & Hounds, Sønderborg. Pours cloudy very dark brown with stable white tan head. Clear aroma of roast, malt and yeast, with notes of dark chocolate and some fruity hints. Bitter flavour of roasted malt, chocolate and alcohol, with notes og hops, yeast and dried fruit. Hints of lactose. Boozy, roasty and estery aftertaste. Decent but the boozy notes needn't be so conspicuous.
