Can from Tavour. Pours clear, but very dark, ruddy brown with a slight tan head. Aroma is Tmavy - lightly roasty, but different from USA lightly roasty. Med body. Flavor is lightly roasty with some darkish caramel and a sort of coffee note. Dry. Bitter. Almost crisp and clean like a pilsner. Very nice flavor.

Can (9/22/20) from Fort Point Market. It's a deeply hazy mahogany/dark brown with light sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width fizzy beige head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is darkened wheat toast, toffee, light tart fruit. Taste is strong toffee with dark fruit and background brown bread. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average-to-lively carbonation and crisp finish as taste. Overall, pretty much exactly as advertised.

16oz can pours a murky, cola brown with a ring of grey head.  Nose takes you to central Europe, caramel malts, prunes, pumpernickel, earthy notes.  Flavor is very earthy, coffee grounds, soil, some caramelize root veg, the caramel malt is the backbone, there's marzipan, more date than prune now.  Dry, crisp finish.  Nicely made.  8 3 7 3 13
