A deep, amber beer with a fine, compact head. The intense fragrance of Australian hops is characterised by herbaceous notes together with grapes, lychees and melon. The flavour is dominated by fruity, citrous tates which bring to mind bitter orange peel and grapes, with a dry, resinous finish. There is a slight caramel aftertaste with notes of liquorice root.

Bottiglia. All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di luppolo. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma cremosa, persistente, voluminosa e dalla buona tenuta. Le bollicine sono grandi con carbonazione eccessiva. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Bollicine medio-fini costituiscono la forma del perlage. La carbonazione rientra nella media. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è carico. L'intensità gustativa è elevata. La costanza gustativa è buona. Le sensazioni boccali che permangono sono di amaro. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, pino e pompelmo.

(Draught at Birra, Berlin, 26 Aug 2017) Reddish amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of black-currant, citrus, grapefruit and crisp-bread. Malty, hoppy taste with caramel, rye bread, citrus, grapefruit, black-currant and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, with a generous hop presence. Nice one.

Draft @ ML Italian beerfest - shared with 77ships. Orange, col fin crémeux blanc-cassé. Arôme au bouquet marqué des houblons, ps mal de c-hops, belles notes de pin et résineux. Palais est houblonné, finement épicé, avec un bel effet du pin et résineux. Qcq touches de houblons rappelant un côté plus anglais - surtout au niveau du malt. Qcq alpha acides, houblonné sur le c-hops? pamplemousse, agrumes, résineux assez juteux. Fini sur un malté léger entre caramel et fin chocolaté.

Thank you for sharing Sebletitje! Sampled draft @ “Italian Beer Week-end #6 - Ranzani 13 Édition” CML Fontainas. That is one long list of collaborating breweries sadly the end result is a not very exciting old school IPA. Near clear dark amber, creamy tanned head. Nose is mellow old school herbal pine & dark bread. Taste is poor herbal mellow old school pine, medicinal herbal, orange peel. Not a very thick spice & dark bread herbal body.

Tap at Moeder Fontainas. Clear golden with white head. Lots of dank hops but also some mango and passion fruit, quite grassy too. Medium sweet and quite bitter. Medium bodied.

Tap @ Open Baladin Rome. Hazy copper bright pour, ivory medium regular foam with retention. Nose is peculiar, kiwi, some water melon, firm roast. Mouth: watery, kiwi, tart overall, charming roast, frizzy bitter finish. Very tasty and different.

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours brilliant amber, with fine white foam. Aroma is resinous mostly, slightly caramel. Body is somehow dense, medium-low carbonation. Taste is definitely bitter. Finish is relatively long and bitter.
