Bottle from Farmhouse sampler. Amber / copper color with strong head retention. Aroma is mild grapefruit, peach and caramel malts.

This brew is balanced pretty well. Caramel malt and hints of yeast help provide balance for the grapefruit and piny hops. The first IPA in this sample pack with a decent medium body. The bitterness gives a drying texture with a lingering pine over the tongue. Nice drink.

Pours hazy gold into a Sam glass. Off-white head with good retention recedes to coat surface leaving scant sheets. Caramel and mild resin aromas. Sweet caramel and mango upfront turning to earthy resin in the lasting finish. Turns a little rancid as it warms.

Part of their Farm House IPA sampler pack bought in Vermont. Pour a slight hazy golden colour with an off-white head, almost creamy and some sloppy lace. Hoppy nose with some Belgian Ale yeast calming things. Nicely bitter taste from the grass covering the blonde malt. Just like the others of this beautiful pack, not a hopbomb, but a better-than-average IPA. Worth seeking out for sure and all very well-balanced.

Bottle on the train to NYC. had as ’Farmhouse American IPA’. Pours clear gold, lightly effervescent, with a creamy, white head. Nose has light dry orange, pine, pee and mild grapefruit. Light to medium sweet flavor with further pine and pee, orange and grapefruit. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish with pith, faint grass and citrus rind bitterness. Not bad, really.
