O dziwo te torfowe nutki w dalekim tle i to glownie w uscie je czuc dopiero, uwaga, slowo, retronosowo. Fajny susz, karmel, cukier, ciemne owoce... wisnie takie najbardziej. Moze kapke meczace ale ryli niezle. Mozna? Mozna. A moze to lezak i torf ulecial?

On tap at Kontynuacja, pours a deep dark caramel brown with a small beige head. Nose brings out caramel, bready malt and a touch of dark fruits. Flavour is quite robust, with heaps of caramel, bready malt and actually quite a high hop content that isn't usual for the style. Bit of smoke in there too to temper the sweetness. Nicely balanced and clean throughout. Very good.

At Ghent Beer Society's Beer Quiz; shared with Anke & Pieter!
Hazy brown with a frothy, off-white head. Aroma of rubber, smoke, peat or turf, peated whisky, earth, 'garage' and tires (yes). It tastes medium malty & sugary sweet and medium earthy & smoky bitter. Dry, peated finish. Medium (almost light) body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Interesting to say the least; the unusual aroma doesn't automatically make it very pleasant, but it's enthralling in its own way. I'll pick it up if I encounter it again.

My first ’wee heavy’ coming from this new Polish craft beer revolution but atypical in using smoked malt, at Gents Bierfestival. Thinnish, lacing, pale yellowish white head over a hazy brownish bronze beer. Aroma of caramel, smoked bacon, black pepper, shag, dried peaches, walnut. Dried fruit sweetishness in the onset, vague sourish redcurrant touch somewhere, softish carbo, smooth and bit oily mouthfeel. Nutty maltiness, dryish, quickly more smoked with retronasal smoked meat impressions, bacon-ish, with some ’natural iron’-like and herbal to it (parsley, spinach); lingering caramelly sweetness afterwards. Interesting ’parcours’ of flavours.

Thank you for sharing RB Crew! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ GBF 2017. Dark reddish amber, tanned head. Nose is heavy on the smoke, pleasantly medicinal, charcoal, thick band-aid smoke. Taste is heavily medicinal, gravy smoke, medicinal almost to the point of implying iodine, basic but pleasant. Thick smoked caramel body. Nice solid beer.
