The true taste of East Kent, this pale ale is brewed simply with pale malt and Goldings hops grown on Humphrey’s farm, just down the road. It’s fresh, hoppy, clean and bitter.

Bottle at home, thanks to Jason & Tracey for Xmas, 03/03/18. Clear golden with a well presented off white cap of bubbles. Nose is light floral notes, straw, hint of lemon, grass, light soapy trace. Taste comprises toasted grains, airy malts, crackers, biscuit, light lemon drzzle, hedgerow, light herb. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterness. Ok if a touch twiggy.

Thin off white head left blotches on a finely carbonated, pale lemon coloured body. Minimal aroma of wheat & mild hints of hops - smells quite dull. Medium to thin bodied, crisp, clean & tingly in the mouth with a clean back. Floral tastes with hops, harsh bitter pith & a malty backbone. Quite a decent Pint

Cask @ Victorian Craft Beer Café, Halifax. Clear golden-amber in colour with a small head. Relatively strong tasting, with a full-bodied texture. Has some pale ale character with a light tropical fruitiness in its taste, and some gritty pale malts in its nose.
