[500ml bottle from The Bottleneck, Broadstairs, that Dad shared with me - cheers!] Golden-amber, slight white head, slight fizz. Bitter, herby, resinous, a few flowers, but just didn’t work for me I’m afraid.

Bottle from Mr Lawrence Wine Merchants, Brockley. Pale gold pour with a white head. Peach, grapefruit and lemon aromas. Quite a bitter nose. Bitter citrus flavours. Bitter, hoppy finish.

Bottled (thanks D. Brett). Slightly hazy golden colour, mediumsized longlasting foamy head that leaves some lace. Aroma is citrus fruits, wood, quite malty as well as some herbal and mild toasted notes. Flavour is malty, a bit fruity, some floral notes as well as wooden hoppyness. Mild biscuity and herbal notes.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 29 Apr 2011) Golden yellow colour with foamy, white head. Fruity nose with citrus, peaches and biscuity malt. Fruity, malty taste with notes of peaches, citrus, biscuity malt and a fairly dry finish with a slightly citric bitterness. Medium body, with some malt sweetness. Well balanced and quite tasty. Enjoyable.

Cask (handpump) @ The Grove, 2 Spring Grove Street, West Yorkshire, Huddersfield, England HD1 4BP.Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. 50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is mild hoppy and vague grassy to citrusy. Citrusy and mild peachy. Lingering fruity and light citrusy and peachy. Medium dry and peachy finish.

Bottled. A light golden beer with a huge white head. The aroma has notes straw, malt, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes caramel, hops, and hops, leading to bitter finish.

Cloudy golden with a medium to large off white head. Hoppy nose with malty and florasl notes. Flavor was quite hoppy with pine, grapefruit and pale malt. Finished dry and bitter.
