Bottle @ benzai. It’s broen coloured which annoys me since it’s called black fuel. You guys dropped the ball here. Smells malty, sweet, raisins. Tastes sweet, raisins, candy, sweets. Medium body, medium carbo.

Sampled @ Eindhovens Bierfestival. Dark brown to black color, a pleasant sweetness, sort of quadrupel-ish, sweet malts, some alcohol, overripe dark fruits and raisins with a soft bitterness. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Quite nice.

330ml bottle: BBD 18th Oct 2018. Drank at home on 2nd Aug 2017, poured into a Westmalle chalice. Dark brown body, beige head. Aroma reminded me of Dandelion and Burdock, the taste also had that sweet flavour of that old English pop (Dandelion and Burdock). Sorry, but this did not do it for me at all, just a sweet mess of a beer really.

How can you make a beer that's called Black Fuel and not make it a pitch black stout strong as hell??? :-(

Clear dark brown beer, big aery beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: neuzekes (typical Belgian candy cones, forest fruit flavoured), red liquorice, meh. Smells way too sweet. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet, caramel, sugary, dried fruits, little bitter, forest fruits, bit sourish. Aftertaste: very sweet and sticky, bit sourish, caramel, dried fruits, too much carbonation. Not a fan of this syrupy stuff. :(

Very dark brown with no head. Aroma and flavour have some floral and sweet notes. It’s like the soft drink Dandelion & Burdock

Thank you for sharing German speaking RB Crew! Sampled bottled @ ZBF 2017. Dark brown, ruby hue amber. Smell is very oily, overly big bay leaf & too much licorice. Taste is licorice, far too much licorice, bay leaf, herbal spice, excessive licorice kills much of this,... Body is oily bark, massively licorice, def. too much & overly simple so for me.
