This is a tasty, understated blonde ale. It does not overdo the Belgian yeast, which is a mistake many brewers make (IMO) in this category. Again, as with their English Ale and IPA, this is a malt forward beer. It is a nice sweet bready taste, and appropriate in this style of beer. Very refreshing.

473mL can. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Dry grass and biscuit malts. Flavour has dry grass, biscuit malts; a touch skunky. Medium-bodied with soft carbonation. It's a fairly middling blonde.

Can. Hazy orange pour, small white head. Aroma is butter, and quite sweet, no hops, and some caramels malts. Thick, oily mouthfeel, low carb. Finish is cloying, and zero bitterness with more sweet caramels, and no hops. This was rough.

Enjoyed at Pub Italia on AleRider78’s b-day. Pours a clean light golden colour with an off-white head, average retention and a little lacing. Grainy cereal taste with very mild grass in the finish. Fruity and grainy light aromas. A decent, light-tasting, fruity, sweet cereal blonde ale.

Can from the LCBO, I had no idea I’d tried this. A deep gold with a honey, grain and mild fruit aroma. The taste is sweet, grainy, honey and a crisp bitterness in the finish. Ok but pretty simple. Now 3.1 out of 5.

On tap at the Ottawa Beerfest. An opaque gold with a caramel butterscotch aroma - diacetyl. The taste is earthy malts & butterscotch. Medium bodied with a rough mouthfeel. It is ok but too much diacetyl. 2.4 out of 5

On this side of the pond this is a better than average golden ale. Nice notes of lihht citrus hops and good crisp malt profile. Well balanced and light. Good for a session beer. Pours golden with ok head and lacing. Tap at Arrow and Loon.

A hazed golden ale with a very thin off white head. In aroma, sweet beanie malt with fruity notes and light signs of infection. In mouth, a rather light watery ale with light mineral water character, boring. On tap at Arrow and Loon.
