Clark and T.J with the cans share. Aroma shows big fresh aromatic hops - grass and earthy dark citrus notes stand out. Taste is pale malt, juicy dank hops with notes of fresh cedar, bitter grapefruit and grass. A typical NE style IPA, but tons of great fresh hop flavor at only 4.6%! This is one of the better session IPA I have sampled. Never gets watery so pretty impressive.

It’s a very light yellow, super hazy. no head. smells like focal banger. tastes like a session focal banger. much thinner than alchemist. light, easy to drink.

Can from Colonial Hazy murky yellow with a huge frothy white head that persists. Lemony over ripe grapefruit and some nice piney dankness. Light grassy herbal bitterness. I like this one a lot more than the last.

Poured from can dated 5/2/17 light hazy pineapple color with a thin white head. Aromas of dank resinous pine stone fruit pineapple scallion. Taste is nice well balanced between the pine citrus grain. Well done!

Canned 5/3/17, drunk 5/17/17.
Chicken soup!! Hell yes, that’s the Morph I’ve been waiting for. Low head retention. Whatever, who gives a shit. I swirled the sediment and poured it all in. We live in crazy times.....
Nose isn’t a juice bomb, per se, but it’s dank, spicy, full of stone fruit and there’s definitely some pineapple and light mango. Some sweat and even a bit of fresh scallion. Mmmmm....scallion! Bare cracker and biscuit from malt and wheat. No alcohol, flaw or resin.
Spicy, green, almost Galaxy-like in its capsaicin-like, coating, sticky, lingering spiciness. Just the right amount of bitterness with low but tight carbonation and a soft, wheaty texture. Very dry but supple. Just a phenomenal dank, fresh, spicy, stone fruit pit and dry pineapple character.
Not as explosively or deeply juicy as the NE style morphs from last Fall, but don’t forget this is 4.6%!!!!! That’s crazy. No alcohol, flaw, resin, or doughy yeast. Maybe I’m a little too high on this one, just because it’s been so long since they’ve done a true NE IPA, but it’s still god damned delicious. I hope this starts the Summer of George, er I mean, Morph!
