New England Bucket List Trip #175. Keg at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber with a thin creamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of toasted malts and floral hops. The taste is caramel malt, floral hops, golden raisins. Medium bodied.

Thanx George for the bottle.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy copper to orange color. There was a one finger white foamy head that had a decent lacing all around the glass in a messy sort of way.
The smell started off with a biscuity/English maltiness (somewhat construed as \"soapiness\" to some but normal to the EPA drinker). Light caramel came in with a decent grainy/toastiness.
The taste was bready and had a decent caramel running about it, slightly toasty and grainy, biscuity as well.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium with a decent sessionable quality to it. The carbonation was there, but nothing overbearing.
Overall, good EPA to have and was happy to have an offering from Lake Placid without having to go to them.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 1/22/11

Aroma: The nose is fairly herbal, citrus hops, a little soap, and some earthy notes
Appearance: It pours a cloudy caramel-amber color with a small white head and some lace
Flavor: The taste is also rather herbal, fairly bland, but with a strongly soapy finish
Palate: The mouthfeel is a bit sticky, lively carbonation, and a slightly unpleasant finish
Overall Impression: This wasn't my favorite beer. There is something about this one that just leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended). It just wasn't very good. This one could use some work. I'll leave it at that.

Bottle: Poured an copper color ale with nice thick white head with good retention. Aroma of bitter hops is clearly distinguishable. Taste is comprised of a nice mix between floral malt and bitter hops. Body is a bit thin for my liking but this still make for a refreshing drink in the summer.

12 oz bottle-pours an off white creamy head. Color is a hazy orangy/copper. Aroma is malty. Taste-not balanced, and don’t care for the flavor of these hops. Good carbonation. A little bite. Didn’t deliver as anticipated from the visual and the aroma. rerate–on tap-pours a white head with gold/copper color. Aroma is faint malt. Taste is caramel malt, flat hops. OK carbonation. 3.3

Draught at Brewtopia ’04 Large head on a clear, deep amber beer. Malt, weak hop aroma. Lacks the robust malt and hop signature, and heavier body of a good IPA, more of an APA or ESB. Drinkable but a little thin.

Orange to brown in colour, with a proteinic haze, Caramel malt aroma with little hops. Malty with very grapefruity, almost bilous hops, harsh. No diacetyl noticed though. A big disappointment.
