Characterized by a multitude of dark fruit flavors and caramel malt on the palate. Finish is dry and accompanied by light alcohol warming. Our recipe is based on traditional raw material selection and fermentation techniques and is brewed with deference paid to the Trappist brewers of Belgium.

Sample is dark orange, clear, ring of white head. Nose has prunes, dates, raisins, booze, cognac, malt. Flavors are the same, boozy, sweet, all the dried fruits. Full bodied, lightly oxidized, boozy finish.

Bottle 750, Cork was impossible to get off. thanks to Schilling. I hear these bottles are going to be distributed. Aroma isn’t bad. chocolate, smoke, molasses and sugar. Carbonation is okay but could be better. Taste, like all Schilling beers the yeast really shines. Bit of chocolate, some yeast, grain and wheat. Oats and almonds. Lots going on but it’s still a decent brew. Need to try a draft.

Nice test batch bottle Adam Jackson got directly from the brewery. I like to thank the Brewers for this chance, cheers! Clear red color with som lasting head. Aroma is lightly fruity with a nice yeast presence. Malt shows dark fruits for sure with a subtle yeast toward the finish. Light lingering dark fruits. Medium texture, pretty nice brew.
