Pours a hazy, light pineapple-yellow, with smallish head. Aroma has some dank basement and sour towel, along with some tropical fruit (there's more than a little Juicy Fruit gum). Flavor has citrus and tropical fruits, with a very bitter finish/aftertaste of pine/spruce hops. Might be a bit more balanced, but it is not bad by any means.

Fresh 16 oz. can purchased at CBC Waterbury, VT. Served only slightly chilled. Aroma is a good amount of fruit but also a malty sweetness. A tad much in the caramel department.
Good orange and Clementine peel presence, hints of lemons. The citrus is almost bold enough to get through the sweetness. The can is only 3 weeks old and it shows lots of crystal and / or caramel malts. Borderline too sweet. It is ok, but I am glad I didn’t let the can sit for any amount of time. Pretty average.

Keg at Reservoir - Waterbury, VT. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. Juicy citrus in the nose, some peach and lemon. Medium sweet flavour with touches of pine needles, pale bread, grapefruit. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish with a bit of oily pine, more lemon, grapefruit, tangerine. Excellent.

This was poured into a tulip (I thought it was a DIPA). Hmmm...I still might, anyways, here’s the rest.
The appearance was a hazy bronzed orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than about thirty seconds. A thin messy layer of clingy lacing roamed around the glass nicely.
The smell starts off with some sweet malt in front running into light citrus hops underscored by a layer of sweet and bitter pine.
The taste was moderately sweet carrying a nice layer of bitterness to surround my tastebuds. There’s a light lingering sweet aftertaste sliding into a semi-dry sweet to light bitter finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it, might lean to a decent sipping quality. Carbonation seems good for the DIPA style and for me.
Overall, I’m thinking this is a DIPA, judging by ABV, the words \"extra IPA\" on the can and how it feels. Still, I’d have it again.
