On tap at the brewery. Pours dark brown. Toffee, prune, plum pudding, raisins, fruit cake, chocolate, sticky toffee pudding. Nice full body. Good.

Excited to randomly find this style. Dark brown pour and a fingers worth of head. Nose is toasted malt and chocolate. Tastes nutty, caramel, chocolate, roasted malt, earth, rootbeer. Medium bodied. Some alcohol.

5 oz. taster. This is just slightly better than the normal pigs ear. The shows a little bit of chocolate with the roasted nuts and earthy malt. Something about this yeast aftertaste that just never sits right with me.

22oz bottle pours a murky, deep brown with some creamy, white head. Nose is earthy, tree bark, a little soil, a little maple, some dust. Flavor is sweet, maple, malt, brown sugar, a bit of dirt. Dry finish.

Bottle from the Beer Store, Pours a solid dark brown with garnet highlights at the edges and a huge bubbly and creamy beige head that persists forever. Aromas of brown sugar and caramel, with an earthy tobacco edge to it. Light dark fruit, mineral and sulfur round out the nose. The flavor is rich caramel and brown sugar with a hint too much butterscotch. Earthy and mineral water round out the flavor. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. I enjoy the regular version a lot more than this one. Tick.
